MAS 90 and MAS 200 - My Tasks
MAS 90 and MAS 200 allow users and companies to create customized task groups for frequently used tasks. This saves time if the tasks are spread out across multiple modules (e.g. Accounts Receivable and Sales Order for the sales department).
Customized tasks can be accessed using either the "My Tasks" tab of the task pane (to the right of the standard Tasks tab) or the "My Tasks" menu (to the right of the Modules menu).
These instructions apply to MAS 90 and MAS 200 versions 4.00 and higher. Customized task groups are also available in earlier versions, but with a different interface.

Public tasks
Overview
To access tasks quickly, you can organize them into groups in public task folders that all users can access. In addition to tasks, you can also add desktop shortcuts and external programs, such as Microsoft Word or Excel into a public task folder so that users can select and launch one of these programs without leaving the software.
Even though public task folders are accessible to all users, individual menu tasks within a task folder are still subject to the security set up in Role Maintenance (if security has been enabled). All company, module, menu, and task restrictions assigned to users override all task folder assignments.
Before you begin
You must have the appropriate security permissions set up in order to create public tasks.

- Type a name for the public task folder and press ENTER.
- Right-click the folder and select New > Task.
